  • Requirements:
  • A diploma or equivalent qualification in Education and Development
  • Two years teaching experience
  • Teaching qualification
  • Registration with SACE

Duties:

  • Undertake all teaching and learning functions relating to Art and Science of teaching L2 – L4; Human and Social Development L2-L4; Learning Psychology L2-L4; Early Childhood Development L2-L4; Child Health L2-L4 and related Report 191 (Nated) programmes
  • Lecturer: Electrical Engineering x 1 - PERMANENT (Ref No.: UTVETC/LEC/ELEC/2018)

Requirements:

  • A diploma or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering with Power Machines N6 as a subject
  • Two years of teaching experience
  • Teaching qualification
  • Registration with SACE

Duties:

  • Undertake all teaching and learning functions relating to, Power Machines N5-N6, Mathematics N1-N6 and other related Electrical Engineering subjects.
  • Lecturer: Maths Literacy X 3 - PERMANENT (Ref No.: UTVETC/LEC/ML/2018)

Requirements:

  • A diploma or relevant qualification with Maths Literacy as a major subject
  • Two years of teaching experience
  • Teaching qualification

Duties:

  • Undertake all teaching and learning functions relating to Maths Literacy in National Certificate Vocational (NCV) L2-4.

 

Civil Engineering Lecturer X1 - PERMANENT (Ref No.: UTVETC/LECT/PLUMB/2018)

Requirements:

  • A diploma or equivalent qualification  in Civil Engineering
  • Two years of teaching experience
  • Teaching qualification
  • Registration with SACE
  • Trade Test in Plumbing will be an added advantage

Duties:

  • Undertake all teaching and learning functions relating to Report 191 (Nated Programmes) in Mathematics N1-N6, Plumbing related subjects N1-N2, Building Science, Building Drawing N1-N3, Building Science N1-N3, Building and Structural Surveying N4-N6, Building and Structural Construction N4-N6 and Quantity Surveying N4-N6.

  • Lecturer: Public Management Mawele(Msinga) Campus – ONE YEAR CONTRACT (Ref: UTVETC/PM/2018)
  • Requirements:
  • A diploma or equivalent qualification in Public Management
  • Two years of teaching experience

  • Must be registered with SACE

Duties:

  • Undertake all teaching and learning functions relating to Report 191 (Nated Programmes) in Entrepreneurship and Business Management (EBM) N4, Public Administration N4-N6, Municipal Administration N5-N6, Public Finance N5-N6, Public Law N6

Responsibilities for all posts:

  • Facilitation/Teaching of the integrated theory and practical curriculum.
  • Assessments of learners as required by College policies.
  • Record keeping – Registers, Mark sheets, Statement of results, Learner progress
  • Classroom management and data capturing
  • Stock control (consumables and non-consumables) where applicable.
  • Extra-curricular duties.
